Thanks everyone for your help.
I've got some work to do to research all Blondie's references! Thanks again.
i've now been out a couple of years and so don't have this information.
(a) ... in which countries is the work of jws currently banned?
this would be extremely helpful for a little project i'm working on.

is it wrong for a charity to ask for money?.
is it wrong for congregation members to demand a public accounting from their denomination on how money their is spent?.
demanding a tithe as god's due - is it scriptural for today's christians?.
Very interesting.
Thanks, jgnat.

Kaput,
Probably have to call Bethel for that info.
Thank you, very helpful. <lol>
Mysterious,
If you check the yearbook its the countries marked as no data.
I don't have any recent Yearbooks to check. Sometimes they also mention it in the section where they summarize the 'world wide progress of the work.'
Can anyone anyone check the 2005 Yearbook... ?
in a post a couple of months ago, i copied a scan of the form a judicial committee uses to notify the society that someone has been disfellowshipped or disassociated.
this form was issued in july 2001.
has this form been revised since then?
bethel,
i'd like to see that form, and fill it out
The link to the form is in my post. Hover your mouse over the words "post a couple of months ago."
In case you have any problems with the link, here it is again:

stillajwexelder, saved,
Thanks, guys.
Any idea whether these countries fall into (a), (b) or (c)...?

Has this form been revised since then? If so, can anyone email me, or post here, a scan of the more up-to-date revision?
PM me for my email address if you're not happy posting the form publicly.
Thank you.

Does anyone know...
(a) ... in which countries is the work of JWs currently banned?
(b) ... in which countries is the Watchtower Society banned?
(c) ... in which countries is the work of JWs not banned, even though the Watchtower Society is not officially recognised?
This would be extremely helpful for a little project I'm working on.
Thanks.
the two leading causes of death in humans is heart disease and cancer.
these are as old as the human race is in history.
yet the creator of all life, the person who knows us inside and out, mentions only diseases in the bible that can be seen and diagnosed from the outside.
What do you think, more proof that the Bible is man and not God's word, or just nit-picking?
I have no doubt whatsoever that the Bible is man's thought on the divine, rather than the divine's thoughts to man.
So maybe the reason it's not mentioned in the bible, is because it wasn't as common back then as what it is today
I agree, but for a different reason. Might it be because heart disease and cancer are predominantly, even if not exclusively, diseases of old age?
In Bible times, perhaps the actual average lifespan (as opposed to the Bible's claimed lifespans [e.g. compare the ludicrous claims of Methuselah living for 696 years, etc.]) of people was much less than today, so the majority of people died in warfare, of famine, infectious diseases, etc, before they were old enough for these 'modern' diseases to become apparent.
Perhaps if cancer appeared in a younger person, it was described as 'leprosy,' which I think was used back then as a 'catch-all' to cover a number of modern-day diseases.
Perhaps, perhaps... Just my .02!

further to my thread on anonymous domain name registration, does anyone have any experience of using anonymous online payment systems?
.
rebel8,
I've tried sending and receiving payments in both accts. but never does my name appear on transactions linked to my business acct.
I didn't realise that. Thanks.
I think no matter what there is a potentially traceable paper trail with $ transactions.
Maybe what I'm looking for just isn't available!
wipe the keyboard clean of your fingerprints afterwards, wear a hair net to ensure you leave no hair follicles behind with your DNA, go to the public computer in disguise, and wear a tin foil hat to ensure no one is tracing you by sattelite.
<lol>

Elsewhere,
IT, I just tried the link again and it went straight to the site.
Thanks for checking. It works ok for me too, today.
Incidentally, unfortunately it looks like their system is still under development...!
